Africa Region Accra High-Level Forum Preparatory Consultation Workshop

Over 180 representatives from 35 African countries, civil society organizations, regional parliamentary networks, and donors, including the sponsoring agencies, participated. The key objectives for the workshop were to:

• Facilitate discussion aimed at building consensus on key matters of critical interest to African countries to improve aid effectiveness and development impact;
• Prepare African countries’ input to the Roundtable discussions at the Accra HLF;
• Provide adequate space and opportunity for African countries to discuss and provide input into the Accra Agenda for Action.
